Up to December 2020, I also had another valuable insight out of the above explanation. Communication and coordination through all of the limitations were some of the core points I learned here. In the Human Resource Department, I asked to support the HR team in the back-end table job. I often deal with database and analytical tools in doing routine activities. Therefore, I could train myself in other supporting skills such the time management, analytical thinking, analytical logic, and troubleshooting in facing the issues. Yet, the Human Resource Department trusted me to handle the employee’s database so that I have not only to be ready, but to be efficient.

I want to say thank you to PT Indocare Pacific (Ecocare) for giving me a chance. Also, I would like to thank you for all of the people I met here; you guys were very amazing in building and maintaining the relationships among the people. Perhaps, all of the people and companies who were always improving in the future. Thank you.

Internship Experience

by M. Gifari Dimas Pradana – Human Resource Deparment

Twenty-four weeks, one hundred sixty-nine days, and four thousand fifty-six hours were the time I spent in 2020 at PT Indocare Pacific (Ecocare). I got the chance to have an internship here for six months in the Human Resource Department (HRD). For me, it was the first experience to handle human resource activities. There were a lot of new lessons and insights, along with my internship with Ecocare. At the early stage, I did remember when the Human Resource (HR) Manager interviewed me in the meeting room with several deep questions. The HR Manager did not ask very much about the questions, but asked me more deeply about my previous internship experience. After a moment, I got the confirmation to start the internship a day after the interview.

I had my short orientation and had a quick trip to the office area in the following days. I met new people, new culture, and a unique situation where they were accepting me kindly. Then, I got my first job working on the Time Sheet of Daily Activities (TSODA) to evaluate the employees’ jobs for more than fifteen branches. A week ahead, I was asked by the HR Manager to observe the branches in JABODETABEK area by visiting and interviewing the employees. I went to Manggarai, Condet, Joglo, Cikarang, Bogor, and Tangerang for almost two weeks. Here, I got an essential experience which I never had previously. I learned not how to start the interview but dig up the information to locate the bottleneck. Most of the time, people often to ask somebody else for a bunch of questions. But, the core skill by asking somebody else is either detecting the problems or streamlining the current system.
